a weekend away from the city, a long dinner at a table you'd booked months ahead, and a drive along the lake that made you think, here. Now you're bringing everyone you love for a whole weekend, and you want photographs that carry that same feeling, beautiful in a way that looks easy and unforced.
I make photographs for couples who've put real thought into how their wedding looks: the gown, the florals that take over a room, the tablescape you've been building in your head for years. Working on film and digital, I compose your day with the eye of a fashion editorial, with scale, light and a strong sense of place, and leave room for everything that happens when no one is posing.
Compass Rose is a hundred acres of meadow and forest outside Milford, anchored by a modern limestone farmhouse and a glass greenhouse that turns florals into architecture. It's a setting built for scale: a ceremony framed by open fields, a long reception table set against the treeline, and portraits in the tall grass at golden hour where the landscape does as much work as the dress.
WEDDING WEEKENDS AT
The CAPE sits on Picton's Mansion Row, an 1863 Georgian manor a block from Main Street, and it rewards couples who plan with intention. Its symmetry and grand front steps give portraits true scale, the long lawn holds a ceremony design with room to breathe, and the rooms upstairs have the soft window light that lets a gown read the way its designer intended. From a Friday welcome dinner in town to the last dance on Saturday, I approach the weekend as one story, with every chapter photographed as carefully as the vows.
WEDDING WEEKENDS AT
Drake Devonshire brings a gallery sensibility to the Wellington waterfront, with contemporary art on the walls and Lake Ontario right outside. It suits couples with a clear point of view on design, and its rooms give your photographs a bold, graphic backdrop while the two of you stay at the centre of every frame.
the whole weekend
A Prince Edward County wedding weekend has a way of slowing everyone down. Your friends arrive from Toronto on Friday still carrying the week, and by the time the welcome dinner in Picton winds down, they've let it go. On Saturday you marry your person in front of the people who made you who you are, and by Sunday brunch everyone is a little tender and in no hurry to leave. Those are the moments your photographs hold onto: the hug at the door on Friday night, the look across the table, the last goodbye before the drive home.
A County wedding gives your guests a true getaway and gives you a setting no downtown ballroom can match: open sky, old stone, vineyard rows and the light off Lake Ontario in late August.

“Danielle will be one of the best, if not the best, decision you make regarding your wedding.”
If you're planning a Prince Edward County wedding and want photographs that feel as considered as everything else you've chosen, I'd love to hear about your weekend.
